Birthday Post 2

Another Item came to my attention today. I have to agree with Karin's view on birthday gifts that they should be fun and frivolous and anything but practical. The following item falls into all of those categories. I present to you the:

PS-55 laser slingshot

This thing is a marvel of engineering. With dual pivoting heads it assures a perfect shot every time. With ballistic bullet drop compensation, laser sight, and a Reflex red dot Sight it is the coolest slingshot ever made. You can fire bb's like a shotgun, airsoft pellets, rocks, paintballs, etc. It can split a pencil at 20' or hit a soda can at at over 60'. I mean come on HOW COOL IS THAT?! You would have to be some kind of JPL rocket scientist to come up with a slingshot this cool.

Check out the videos on the site. I recommend these: how it works, pencil split, aim and fire.

Oh and that commercial had it's deadline push so I get a few more days and another weekend of long hours. Wohoo... not. Argh, I forgot how unfun crunch time can be. Back to animating ice falling.

Birthday

It seems I have a birthday coming up. I would not be sad if someone got me the mobiBLU 1GB mp3 player with built-in headphones, radio, voice recorder, and necklace (in black). Several people in commercials have these, they are very good if you work out at the gym. It's just super cool. :D

So yea I am over in commercials. It's Ok I guess but it explains the lack of bloging. Thing more at a different pace over here. It is what it is and at least the commercial is cool. I should be back onto features next week and I can also get back to my normal schedule.

I am tired, very tired. I am glad it's the Sabbath, I need it.

I read a very emotional article over at latimes.com. I think it covers the range of emotions I feel about the disengagement.
